Rick is in much demand as a graphic designer and photographer for the theatre, using his expertise gathered from a lifetime as a theatre actor working from The Open Theatre to Broadway ("Is Friesen the only one who can act around here?" -Zero Mostel). Besides his mastery of the visual performing arts, he is a published poet.
