Amanda Troop (Chorus/Understudy Gayaneh)

is an Army brat who’s finally landed in Los Angeles. She started acting when she was 13 as Betty in The Crucible, and she hasn’t been able to stop since. In high school Amanda garnered many local and state thespian awards, attended the summer musical theater program at Carnegie Mellon University, and competed in the National Shakespeare Competition at the Lincoln Center in New York City. At 19 Amanda moved to Los Angeles and has since acted in several independent films, including a lead role in Score!, which screened as part of the Silverlake Film Festival and the New York Intl. Independent Film and Video Festival. Amanda is excited to again be working with director Anita Khanzadian after playing Letta in the very successful run of Death of a Salesman with the Interact Theater Company this summer. Let the Rocks Speak is an important play and Amanda is honored to be part of the production.
