Jimmie
studied speech and drama at Santa Barbara C.C., graduated from the
American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and was the artistic director
of Footlight Theatre in Bucks County, Pa., staging several seasons
of plays and musicals. In 1974 he moved to Chicago where he joined
the National Company of the musical Grease, playing
Eugene and serving as dance captain in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd national
tours. After returning to the Windy City, he appeared as Peyote
in Teeth n Smiles, created the role of Pap in
the World Premiere musical Keegle Street and sang
the role of George in Harry Chapins Lies and Legends.
In 1984, Jimmie moved to L.A. and had the good fortune in being
able to join the ranks of working actors. He has guest-starred in
over 35 T.V. series and was twice nominated for best supporting
actor by First Americans in the Arts for his work on Diagnosis
Murder and the movie of the week, Blue Rodeo.
He co-starred in the mini-series Lucky/Chances, was
seen as Bes-Das in Larry McMurtrys Dead Mans Walk
and as HaHa Jones in the Truman Capote classic A Christmas
Memory. He has starred in the cult films Puppetmaster,
Ghost Town, Oblivion, and Oblivion II: Backlash
and has had memorable roles in Lethal Weapon, Pink Cadillac,
Underworld, Cutthroat Island, Hollow Man and Catch
Me if You Can. In LA theatre, Jimmie is a member of First
Stage Hollywood, has performed Antonio in Twelfth Night
and Laertes in Hamlet on the Half-Shell
at the Pacific Shakespeare Co.,won a Drama-Logue Award for his role
as Adam in the original play Adam & Eva Marie
at Actors Art Theatre and created the role of Dallas in the World
Premiere of Boiler Room, also at Actors Art Theatre.
He is also a proud father, having co-produced, with Virginia Morris,
ShapeShifter Productions World Premiere of Doris Baizleys
Mimis Guide, the West Coast Premiere of Joseph

, and the
World Premiere of Lilly Thomassians Let The Rocks Speak.
