is delighted to be appearing for the first time at The Fountain Theatre. L.A. theatre credits include: Refugees, her critically-acclaimed solo play, directed by Anita Khanzadian (Bitter Truth Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and on tour); Kvetch – the Odyssey Theatre, Invention for Fathers and Sons (Drama-Logue award), Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Two for the Seesaw – all at Theatre 40. Before moving to L.A, she danced, then acted, on, off and off-off Broadway, on national tours and in regional theatre. TV credits include The Practice, The Division, Beverly Hills 90210, The Wonder Years (recurring as Ida Pfeiffer) and several soaps and court shows. She has just premiered a new solo piece, Coming to America – Transformations, also directed by Anita Khanzadian. Stephanie has received three grants from the L.A. Department of Cultural Affairs, and will be included in the California Arts Council’s Touring Directory (2004-06) for her two solo shows. Refugees is about to be published by Samuel French. She feels honored to be part of this production and to be working again with her favorite director. She teaches parttime at California State University, Northridge.
